Nantong Shanjing produces and sells aluminum pigments and pastes for industrial and commercial products. It has a new manufacturing plant based in Nantong, Jiangsu Province and an office in Shanghai, specializing in R&D and sales. The transaction allows Sun Chemical, to expand its product offering and to strengthen its position in Asia. BDA acted as advisor to Sun Chemical and DIC throughout the transaction, identifying the opportunity then advising on negotiations, valuation, documentation and transaction completion.
