Oct 16, 2007 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- China Biopharma Inc (OTC Bulletin Board:CBPC), a biopharmaceutical company based in China, declared on 15 October that its partner, Soonfast Pharmaceutical Science & Technology Co Ltd has successfully completed its trial production of a new herbal antiviral product.

The agreement between the two companies gives China Biopharma the right to distribute the all-natural antiviral medicine in overseas market including Europe and the United States.

In addition, the two parties plan to jointly conduct studies on its extracts in both China and the US in order to obtain the approval required to sell the medicine as an over-the-counter drug.

The sample product of the medicine, which has been approved in China for external use to treat human papillomavirus (HPV) and herpes simplex virus (HSV), is available for distributors, with the commercial product to follow next month.
